Our new role

Worldwide, we are entering the final stages of the man-wildlife conflict. Over 80 percent of the Earth’s landmass is directly impacted by mankind’s activities. Many species, including our most iconic, have suffered massive population losses over the last century. For example, the orangutan population was reduced by 93%.

We must outgrow our previous beliefs about man-animal conflict and accept our new role as planetary stewards, or we will eventually perish in the wake of our own destructive activity.
